The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Teghra P.S. Case no. 124 of 2017, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 323, 353, 333, 307, 504, 109 and 435 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The accusation is that on receiving information about blockage of road at Paigambarpur near Tegra the informant and other Police officials reached there then saw that 100-150 people having lathi, danda and bricks in their hand blocked the road. The motorcycle and other wooden materials were put on fire there and on information the fire brigade vehicle also reached there, anyhow informant and other police officials tried to pacify the situation, but mob stated raising slogans against the Police administration and causing assault

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46608 of 2017 (2) dt.22-09-2017 2/2 through pelting stones and firing was also being made by the mob. The local Chokidar and Dafadar disclosed the name of 38 persons including the petitioners as member of the mob. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are resident of Kolhuwara situated four kilometer away from the place of occurrence and perhaps their names have been disclosed either by the Chowkidar or informer of the Police. The petitioners have no criminal antecedents.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 124 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
