JUSTICE ARVIND SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 13-09-2017 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Vidyapati Nagar (Ghato) P.S. Case No. 30 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the deceased was a lady of arrogant nature and had a very modern lifestyle. Due to low earning of the petitioner, she always used to quarrel and ultimately she committed suicide. Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that during investigation it has come that petitioner used to take liquor and after taking liquor he alongwith his family members used to assault the deceased. It has further come that after killing the deceased, she was hanged

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36918 of 2017(3) dt.13-09-2017 2/2 on the ceiling to give it a colour of suicide. Considering the nature of allegations levelled against this petitioner, materials available on the record and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for grant of bail. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is, therefore, rejected.
