The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Dhansoi P.S. Case No. 65 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) 35, 38 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation against petitioner is of recovery of 302.58 litres of liquor from the paddy straw. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the land where the paddy straw was kept neither belongs to petitioner nor paddy straw. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 03.07.2018.
