Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 504, 506 of the IPC.

As per FIR, the petitioner caused grievous injury to the informant.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is submitted that a petty dispute took place between the parties in which the informant received injury. It is further submitted that the case has been compromised between the parties and in this regard, informant has filed a compromise petition (Annexure 3). Petitioner has got no criminal

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

However, considering the nature of accusation and nature of injury, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to the petitioner to surrender and seek regular bail, which would be disposed of on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
