The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 347, 366(A), 370 and 370(A) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 4 of D.P. Act.

Informant had filed a complaint petition in the court of learned C.J.M., Katihar under Section 347, 366(A), 370 and 370(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The complaint petition was sent to the police under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. for registration of FIR giving rise to Pranpur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2017 and after investigation police has submitted charge-sheet under Section

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43037 of 2018(4) dt.27-08-2018 2/2 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioner is in custody since 18.05.2018.

Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Katihar in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2017.
