21-04-2016 On call, none appeared on behalf of petitioner either to press the petition or to make a prayer for adjournment. Sri Sanjiv Sharan, learned counsel, who has voluntarily appeared on behalf of informant/opp. party no. 2, in presence of Sri Anil Kumar Singh, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, submits that by efflux of time, it appears that the present petition has become infructuous. He submits that the present petition has been filed against the order of cognizance for the offences under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. After the order of cognizance, subsequent development has taken place. The case was committed, charges framed and till date, four witnesses have already been examined.
