The petitioner seeks bail in Karakat P.S. Case No. 184 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 324, 307, 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the F.I.R., five unknown persons riding on three motorcycles intercepted the informant & his father and are alleged to have attacked them with knife, as a result of which, both of them sustained injuries and during treatment, father of informant died.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that name of petitioner transpired during of course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Dinesh Singh, who has already been granted bail, vide order dated 04.01.2022

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52034 of 2021(2) dt.27-01-2022 2/2 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 45234 of 2021. Petitioner is not the owner of the alleged motorcycle, which is said to have recovered from the place of occurrence. No incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and till date, he has not been put on T.I.Parade. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 12.12.2020. Investigation is complete.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Subdivisional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bikramganj, Rohtas at Sasaram / concerned court where the case is pending in connection with Karakat P.S. Case No. 184 of 2020 (G.R. No. 1614 of 2020).
