JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 28-08-2024 The petitioner's claim before the learned Single Judge was for honorarium for the services of the petitioner rendered as 'Nyay Mitra'. The petitioner also claimed that he carried out his joining on 15.03.2008 and has been continuing till the filing of the writ petition.

2. The counter affidavit filed disclosed that the Ex Sarpanch had intimated the District Panchayati Raj Officer, Rohtas under correspondence dated 14.05.2008 that the

Patna High Court L.P.A No.372 of 2022(4) dt.28-08-2024 2/2 petitioner has never assumed his duties by joining on the post for which he is claiming honorarium. The learned Single Judge found that there was not even a denial of the specific averment made in the counter affidavit.

3. In the above circumstances, the writ petition was dismissed and we find absolutely no reason to entertain the appeal.

4. The appeal also stands dismissed.
