The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Panchrukhi P.S. Case No.222 of 2020 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation has been made that there is recovery of commercial quantity of liquor from the Poultry farm of the petitioner.

Considering the nature of allegation, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within a period of two weeks from today and seek

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38832 of 2020(2) dt.21-10-2021 2/2 regular bail, if so advised. If he does not surrender within the aforesaid period of two weeks, the Superintendent of Police, Siwan, is directed to get the petitioner arrested by exercising all coercive steps. He is also directed to ask for a show-cause from the Investigating Officer as to what prevented him from arresting the petitioner.

A report must be filed by the Superintendent of Police, Siwan, after the surrender or arrest of the petitioner. Put up this case after three weeks.
