The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 273/2020 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner is said to be the driver of the Maruti vehicle from which a huge quantity of liquor was recovered and the petitioner had run away from the spot and he was not arrested.

In these circumstances, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected.

It is, accordingly, dismissed.
