Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 172 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364(a)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that name of the petitioner has figured in confessional statement of co-accused Chhotu Lal Bhagat. He has also named Raju Rai @ Rahul, who has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 43665 of 2022 and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51268 of 2022(2) dt.18-01-2023 2/2 the case of the petitioner is on similar footing than that of Raju Rai @ Rahul.

On the other hand, the learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 172 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr. P.C. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
