Petitioner, being the husband, is in custody in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No.175 of 2018 registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Diary in the present case was called for along with viscera report.

A report from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Bihar, Patna, has been received, which indicates that the sample of viscera of Priyanka Kumari, which had been sent for examination, did not reveal the presence of any Metallic, Alkaloidal, Glycosidal, Pesticidal or Volatile Poison from all the samples as sent for examination. Thus, the speculation that she may have been poisoned to death stands overruled.

No.50743 of 2018(6) dt.06-02-2019 2/2 So far as the case diary is concerned, the post-mortem examination report, which has been appended to it, clearly reveals that there were multiple injuries on the person of the deceased girl who had been married to the present petitioner only four days back. It also appears that the death has been caused due to strangulation and under suspicion circumstances. In view of the aforementioned facts, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected. Let the viscera report be sent back to the court concerned under sealed cover.
