Petitioner is an accused in connection with S.Tr. No. 1054 of 2019 arising out of Rajiv Nagar P.S. Case No. 313 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 395, 397 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected on merit vide order dated 29.02.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 12421 of 2020. Petitioner is in custody since 01.07.2019.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is no fresh ground to enlarge the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4191 of 2021(4) dt.17-03-2021 2/2 petitioner on bail.

Having considered the entire facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected.

However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial within a period of six months. If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months.
