2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with other co-accused persons prepared a forged document and sold some of the land of informant.
4. It is submitted that petitioner is neither purchaser nor seller or identifier of the Agreement for Sale of land in question. Petitioner is the Clerk of the Registry Office and he has been assigned the work of registry and has performed his duty, took signature, thumb impression after verifying their
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42659 of 2023(2) dt.03-08-2023 2/2 Aadhar Card and as such no offence of cheating and forgery is made out against this petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Turkauliya (Banjariya) P.S.
