The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 137 of 2017 dated 28.05.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)A/26/35 of the Arms Act.

On secret information that one Manoj Ravidas, after coming out of jail, is planning to commit dacoity, a raid was conducted. From the place where the raid was conducted, the petitioner and two others were arrested. About six other accused persons fled away. From the possession of the petitioner one loaded country made pistol has been recovered. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47764 of 2017 (3) dt.08-12-2017 remanded in two other cases. In one such case, the petitioner has not been named and in the other, he has been made accused in a case under Sections 323 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since 29.05.2017. In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 137 of 2017.
