The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 168 of 2022 instituted under under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 3.8.2022 by the informant, Rubi Devi. As per the prosecution story, the allegation is that the petitioner's side had suspicion of the hand of informant's husband in the forceful marriage of his son Ajit with his niece. Further, allegation is that the accused-petitioner gave iron rod blow on the head of the informant but it hit the nose of the informant's husband which has been found to be grievous in nature.

Considering the fact that there is grievous injury on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47675 of 2023(2) dt.11-08-2023 2/2 the nose of the informant's husband, certainly this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

If the petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today, the court concerned shall see to it that the bail petition is disposed of preferably on the same day.
