The State of Bihar .... .... Opposite Party ====================================================== Appearance :
For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Girish Chandra Jha For the Opposite Party/s : None ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 2.
01-07-2016 Heard Sri Girish Chandra Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner. None appeared on behalf of State. The petitioner, apprehending his arrest in L.N.M.U. P.S. Case No. 196 of 2015 registered for offences under Sections 143, 342, 323, 324, 326, 327, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code & subsequently Section 307 of the I.P.C. was added, has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.
On perusal of F.I.R., it is evident that the petitioner is one of the named accused. Besides this, his antecedent indicates that he is accused in serious offences in at least six cases. Considering the antecedents and the fact that petitioner is F.I.R. named accused, there is no reason to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26553 of 2016 (2) dt.01-07-2016 2/2 The petition stands dismissed.
