WJC No.1284 of 2023(11) dt.09-01-2026 2/2 the light of the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 01.12.2025 passed in Criminal Appeal No. 5140 of 2025, arising out of SLP (Crl.) No. 14931 of 2025 wherein it has been observed that the present writ petition is not maintainable, he seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach this Court in case any positive order in the civil proceedings warranting police protection arises in favour of the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as aforesaid.
