The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 22(c) and 27A of N.D.P.S. Act.

As per the prosecution case, on search being conducted 30.460 kgs of ganja was recovered from the house of the petitioner and it is stated that on his disclosure 133.510 kgs of ganja was recovered from the vehicle.

It is submitted by learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 18.4.2022 (Annexure-1) giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42582 of 2022(2) dt.14-09-2022 2/2 charge. The petitioner is in custody since 16.6.2020 and charge had been framed on 24.9.2021 itself.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner, the liberty granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 18.4.2022 and the petitioner having remained in custody since 16.6.2020, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Athmalgola P.S. Case no. 142 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge XXIV - cum - Special Judge, NDPS, Patna.
