The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Areraj P.S. Case No.218 of 2024 registered for the offence under sections 137(2), 96 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 8/12 of the POCSO Act. 3.

The petitioner is said to have kidnapped the victim girl. He is in custody since 10.02.2025. 4.

From the statement of the victim girl recorded under section 183 of the B.N.S.S. it appears that she had eloped with the petitioner out of her own.

Learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail. 6.

Considering the statement of the victim girl, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 6th District & Additional Sessions Judge - cumExclusive Special Judge, POCSO Act, East Champaran at Motihari / concerned Court below, in connection with Areraj P.S. Case No.218 of 2024.
