Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is father-in-law of the victim of dowry death. Allegation is general and omnibus of commission of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand by the in-laws including the petitioner.
It appears that a compromise petition has been filed in the court below, though the offence is not compoundable. Considering the fate of the trial and the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 18.03.2018 and investigation of the case is already complete, let the petitioner, above named, be
