2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Laherisarai P.S. Case No. 195 of 2024 dated 31.03.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 419, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 10 of the Bihar Examination conduct Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, verification of selected teachers was started from 03.01.2024. It is further alleged that on 31.03.2024 at Biraul Block at the time of bio-metric verification, the petitioner, bearing Adhar No. 697713096830, B.P.S.C., Roll No. 859581, Teacher ID No.

No.44159 of 2024(2) dt.01-08-2024 2/3 BPDAR123150000379, was found unmatched and on query, he confessed his guilt that the co-accused, Ravi Prakash had appeared in place of him in the said examination and both have confessed their guilt before the B.E.O. It is further alleged that the petitioner was already working as a fake teacher in the school.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner is working as a fake teacher in Upgraded High School Baliya of Biroul Block, Darbhanga. The similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 03.07.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 36267 of 2024. The petitioner has clean criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of
