The Petitioner who is in custody seeks bail in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 37 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is of committing theft and dacoity.

It has been stated on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has only transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused in another case being Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 51 of 2017. It has further been stated that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since,

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M. Bhagalpur in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 37 of 2017.
