JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-08-2017 The petitioner in the present writ application has sought for direction upon the University to call for the meeting of University Selection Committee/Promotion Committee and to place the papers of the petitioner before the Selection Committee for consideration for promotion of the petitioner to the post of Reader.

It has been pointed out in para-2 of the second counter affidavit, filed on behalf of the University, that the petitioner has already been promoted to the post of Reader by Notification No. GA 11/2013 circulated vide Memo No. B/1480-1612 dated 27.02.2013 with effect from 30.03.1986. There is no further relief to be granted to the petitioner.
