The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 478 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is stealing of Rs. 80,000/- in cash and ornaments worth Rs. 50 to 60 thousand. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner has been made accused in this case on suspicion only, although statement has been made that he was chased and apprehended from the spot but nothing has been recovered from his possession. It has been further submitted that petitioner is in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48101 of 2017 (3) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 custody since 02.07.2017 and charge sheet has been submitted against him.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Forbesganj P.S.
