This application has been filed for quashing of order dated 30.06.2022 passed by learned Special Judge-(Vigilance), Patna in connection with Special Case No. 350 of 2017 arising out of Vigilance Case No. 94 of 2017 against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 7/13(2) R/W Sections 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

By the impugned order dated 30.06.2022, the discharge application of the petitioner has been rejected in the court below. Prima facie it has been found that this is a trapped

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43298 of 2022(6) dt.18-03-2023 2/2 case and while accepting the bribe, the petitioner was caught raid handed.

Considering the aforesaid fact as well as the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in case of State of Bihar Vs Ramesh Singh 1977 SCC439 and R. Soundirarasu Vs State of Karnatka through D.S.P. 2022 4 PLJR 4 SC, this application is dismissed.
