2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bagaha (Patkhauli) P.S. Case No.158 of 2023 lodged under Sections 302/34 of the IPC.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 05.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.82093 of 2023 with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail 7 months after framing of charge.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 14.03.2023 and progress report has been called for.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50968 of 2025(3) dt.12-09-2025 2/2 for bail and progress of the trial has been called for. From the progress report, it transpires that out of 11 charge-sheet wintesses, 9 witnesses have been examined and only one private witness and only 2 I.Os. have to be examined. He further submits that trial court has demanded 2 months for conclusion of trial.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

7. However, trial court is hereby directed to conclude the trial within 2 months.
