This is an application for bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 466 of 2017/199 of 2017, arising out of Mohiuddin Nagar P.S.Case No. 12 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of abduction of the informant and police has arrested him on chase. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that on the request of the relative of the petitioner he boarded on the vehicle and he has nothing to do with the same and he has no criminal antecedent and has remained in custody for seven months.
Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39394 of 2017 (3) dt.31-08-2017 2/2 bail stating that petitioner was arrested at the spot and furthermore disposal syringe and other intoxicant materials have been recovered from the vehicle.
Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
