The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the nine named accused persons including the petitioner herein are said to have assaulted Mukesh Singh, Jhuni Devi and Subodh Singh with lathi.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 3.6.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

The application for bail is opposed by learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52029 of 2021(2) dt.03-03-2022 2/2 A.P.P. for the State who submits that one of the injured Mukesh Singh has grievous injury.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the general and omnibus allegations against the petitioner together with the petitioner having remained in custody since 3.6.2021 ie for 9 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Dhangai P.S. Case no.42 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, District Gaya.
