2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with B.P No. 150 of 2022 arising out of Shahpur P.S. Case No. 149 of 2012 registered on 21.11.21 lodged under Sections 304B, 201/34 of the I.P.C. which has been rejected vide order dated 15.11.2022 in Cr. Misc. No.27535 of 2022 with direction to the trial court to conduct the trial as early as possible.

3. Counsel further submits that petitioner is in custody since 04.01.2022.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes to prayer for bail.

5. From the fresh progress report it transpires that the case has been committed to the Court of Learned Sessions Judge

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45593 of 2023(5) dt.16-02-2024 2/2 on 12.10.2023 and trial is likely to be concluded in a short period of 9 months, as such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

6. With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
