The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Trial No. 5351 of 2021 arising out of Vishambharpur P.S. Case No. 43 of 2021 dated 07.04.2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Amendment Excise Act, 2018. of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is sought to be prosecuted in this case on account of recovery of 234 litres of liquor from the tractor, which was being driven by the petitioner.

The petitioner is said to be in custody since 08.04.2021 and does not have criminal antecedent. Regard being had to the period of custody and the

No.57387 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 nature of offence, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned IInd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge (Excise), Gopalganj in connection with Trial No. 5351 of 2021 arising out of Vishambharpur P.S. Case No. 43 of 2021 .
