For the Petitioner/s : Mr. AMIT ANAND, ADV. For the Respondent/s : Mr. MANOJ KR. AMBASTHA, G.P.-14 =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 31-03-2015 Heard learned senior counsel rather extensively who has placed the case of the petitioner very effectively but unfortunately after going through the counter affidavit and materials brought on record including the service book of the petitioner, the question raised by him with regard to his correct date of birth seems to be an afterthought on a procured kind of matriculation certificate subsequently, to beget advantage of a couple of years of more service under the State.

Since the petitioner has not bothered to have any change

Patna High Court CWJC No.1873 of 2014 dt.31-03-2015 2/2 in his service book right through the period of service till he reached his age of superannuation, even according to Rule 96 of the Bihar Financial Rules, such indulgence cannot be shown or granted on a certificate obtained later.

Writ is dismissed.
