JUSTICE RAJESH KUMAR VERMA ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 02-01-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Patna Municipal Corporation.
2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the Patna Municipal Corporation to pay the legal dues to the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits on instruction that during the pendency of the writ petition all the
Patna High Court CWJC No.22099 of 2011 dt.02-01-2024 2/2 admitted dues have been paid to the petitioner except the interest amount which the petitioner is entitled as per calculation chart (Annexure-2).
4. Learned counsel for the respondent-Patna Municipal Corporation submits and referring to paragraph nos. 7 and 8 of the counter affidavit stating therein that all the admitted dues have already been paid to the petitioner since long back in 2014 itself and some amount of Rs. 1,22,627/- has already been paid in the month of December, 2023 and as such all the admitted dues have been paid to the petitioner.
5. It appears from the counter affidavit as well as submission of learned counsel for the Patna Municipal Corporation that all the admitted dues have been paid to the petitioner.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
