The petitioner, who is the sister-in-law of the deceased, seeks bail in anticipation of her arrest in connection with Ramnagar P.S. Case No. 329 of 2020, dated 15.09.2020, which was initially instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 506, 498(A) and 307/34 of the I.P.C. but later with the death of the deceased,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.293 of 2021(7) dt.02-11-2021 2/3 Section 302 of the I.P.C. has been added.

The husband of the deceased has not been made accused in this case. However, in the F.I.R. and in the investigation papers, there is a very strong allegation against the husband of the petitioner and it has also been alleged that because of his being an Advocate in the local Civil Court, he has been exerting influence on the investigating agency and on the Court as well.

The aforesaid allegation has been vehemently controverted and refuted by the counsel for the petitioner. In support of his contention, it has been submitted that the husband of the petitioner has surrendered to the process of law and today, he is in custody.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the general nature of accusation against the petitioner and her gender, the provisional bail granted to her vide order dated 23.06.2021, is, hereby, confirmed. She shall remain on the same bail-bonds.

The application stands disposed off accordingly.
