2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"(i) to issue an appropriate order/s, direction/s including a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing upon the concerned respondent to make the payment of compensation to the petitioner whose

Patna High Court CWJC No.9751 of 2026(2) dt.07-07-2026 2/3 land has been used for the purpose of construction of Hasanpur Maranga 40 feet long and 20 feet wide bridge without consent and following the land acquisition proceedings.

(ii) to direct the concerned respondent to make the payment of compensation to the petitioner as per current market value of adjoining land.

(iii) to take legal action against the contractor of respondent Bihar Pul Nirman Nigam who has forcibly commenced construction of bridge over the land of the petitioner.

(iv) to any other relief/s to which the petitioner may be found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be presenting his fresh representation alongwith supporting document before the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Samastipur within a period four weeks.

4. Learned State counsel submits that if such

5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the concerned respondent, the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Samastipur in next four weeks and if such petition alongwith supporting documents are filed, the aforesaid respondent shall be taking up the matter and it is expected that a reasoned order is passed at an earliest.
