2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with NDPS Case No. 36 of 2025 arising out of Paharpur P.S. Case No. 09 of 2025 registered for the offence under Section 111 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and under Sections 8, 20(b)(II)(B) of the NDPS Act.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 22.02.2025.
4. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
5. The name of the petitioner has come in the case on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44820 of 2025(2) dt.30-07-2025 2/2 the confessional statement of one Ujjawal Pandey who was caught by the Police. Ujjawal Pandey has confessed that the petitioner was involved in the killing of one Kuber Pandey and the motorcycle used in the murder of Kuber Pandey has been recovered from the co-accused Babar Azam. The petitioner has four criminal antecedents.
6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is involved in serious cases of robbery and contract killing etc., and the fact that the learned counsel for the petitioner has no instruction about the case of Kuber Pandey, this application for regular bail is hereby dismissed.
