JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-07-2019 The petitioner has put to challenge, an award, dated 30.05.2019, passed in Authority Case No. 07 of 2016 by the Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Saharsa, on an application made by him under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, in the present writ application filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

Patna High Court CWJC No.12852 of 2019(3) dt.17-07-2019 2/2 Section 74 of the Act provides for an appeal, in case the Requiring Authority or any person is aggrieved by any award passed by an Authority, under Section 69 of the Act to the High Court within 60 days from the date of award. Since the petitioner has statutory remedy of preferring an appeal before this Court under Section 74 of the Act, I am not inclined to entertain this writ application.
