2. Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.
3. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chanan P.S. Case No. 40 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32, 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
4. Recovery is of 800 litres of illicit liquor from the motorcycle of the petitioner.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17.05.2024.
6. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

7. Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.
8. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge IV-cumExclusive Special Excise Court-I, Lakhisarai in connection with Chanan P.S. Case No. 40 of 2024.
9. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner will also deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in Ramkrishna Mission Vidyapith, Ramkrishna Nagar, P.O. Vidyapith, Deoghar, Jharkhand, 814112 and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Guddu/- U
