JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 09-08-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 307, 379, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. It is contended that as per allegation there is a land dispute between the parties and due to which altercation took place. The allegation of snatching golden chain is merely ornamental in nature. It is urged that the injuries are simple in nature.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, namely, Parmanand Poddar and Lale Poddar @ Lala Poddar @ Sunil Poddar be released on bail in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31176 of 2016 (2) dt.09-08-2016 2/2 the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Sajour (Shahkund) P.S. Case No.70/2016, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section (2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
