2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given a representation dated 12.05.2026 (Annexure-P/2) to the Executive Engineer Rural Works Department, Work

Patna High Court CWJC No.9494 of 2026(2) dt.03-07-2026 2/3 Division, Darbhanga-1 i.e. Respondent No. 6 herein who is the competent authority for deciding the matter and the present writ petition may be disposed of directing the Respondent No. 6 to consider the said representation by fixing a time frame.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent-State submits that he has no objection if a direction is given to the Respondent No. 6 to consider the said representation strictly in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 6 to consider the said representation dated 12.05.2026 (Annexure P/2) made by the petitioner herein as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. In case the claim of the petition is found to be genuine, the authority shall take necessary steps for paying the same, however, in case the authority comes to the conclusion that the grievance of the petitioner does not merit any consideration, he shall pass a reasoned order giving reasons for such rejection.
