In this case, the petitioner is seeking relief of mandamus for directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Constable against the Advt. No. 1/1998.

Already 29 years have passed, the petitioner has attained the age of 55 years, cannot be appointed as a Constable. In view of the above, this Court does not find any merit in the present writ application and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
