This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Chainpur P.S.Case No.106 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 1`49, 341, 323, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of firing on the informant causing injury to him on the leg.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that injures of the informant are simple in nature. The petitioner is accused in nine other cases also but he is on bail in those cases. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that the petitioner has criminal antecedent and there is allegation of firing.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40221 of 2017 (2) dt.25-08-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, at this stage, however, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail before the court concerned after framing of charge in this case.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
