Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are persons with clean antecedent. It is next submitted that petitioners, being mother-in-law and brother-inlaw, have been falsely implicated in the instant case. It is next submitted that from perusal of allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that the allegations against the petitioners are

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46879 of 2024(2) dt.12-08-2024 2/2 general and omnibus in nature. It is also submitted that whenever any dispute arises in between the husband and the wife, the entire family members are implicated with general, omnibus and ornamental allegations. It is further submitted that even husband of the informant has also filed an application seeking anticipatory bail in which notices have been issued. 4.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 511 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Satyavrat Verma, J) SUMIT/- U T
