ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 17-10-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioners are in custody since 19.07.2017 in connection with Barauni (Chakia) P.S. Case No. 225 of 2009 for the offence registered under Sections 364 and 365 of the Indian Penal Code and later on Section 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code has been added.
Considering the fact that the petitioners had evaded the processes of Court for considerable length of time after the rejection of their anticipatory bail application twice, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
However, the trial Court, presently being the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48407 of 2017 (2) dt.17-10-2017 2/2 Additional Sessions Judge- IVth, Begusarai, is directed to expedite the trial of S.T.No. 348 of 2017 so as to conclude the same positively within a period of nine (9) months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
