The petitioner is aggrieved with the illegal appointment of the respondent no. 9 as also non-consideration of his claim despite having all the eligibility to be appointed on the post of Manav Bal Safai Karmi, pursuant to the decision taken by "Ward Sabha" of Ward No. 3, Panchayat Raj Daunaha, dated 10.08.2023.

It is the specific contention of the petitioner that the selection committee in collusion with each other appointed respondent no. 9 contrary to the guidelines, inasmuch as, the respondent no. 9 is none else, but the nephew of the ward member of the concerned ward. The aforesaid facts have been brought to the knowledge of the concerned Block Development Officer who also issued notice to all the concerned, but no action has been taken and thus, the petitioner represented before all the authorities concerned, including the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, but to no decision, hence the present writ petition.

4. Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned Standing Counsel No. 12 submitted that since the petitioner has already brought the entire facts before the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, he would be the competent authority to consider and pass appropriate order.

5. Having considered the nature of the grievance and the submissions set forth, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.04.2025, the copy of which is placed on record as Annexure P/3 series to the writ petition and bring to its logical conclusion, preferably within a period of three months
