====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 28-07-2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought, inter alia, following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "That the present writ application is being filed for direction upon the respondents to pay the petitioner her amount of General Provident Fund and Group Insurance, which is due in favour of petitioner but same is not being paid to the petitioner, and the petitioner further prays for direction upon the respondents to grant interest at the rate of 18% per annum on the aforesaid admitted dues of the

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs this Court that the petitioner has been terminated from service, but he is entitled for General Provident Fund (GPF) and Group Insurance which has not been paid till date. He further informs that he has already filed several representations before the Director, Provident Fund and the District Provident Fund Officer concerned.

4. Considering the aforesaid information, the Director, Provident Fund, Patna - respondent no.7 and the Surgeon-cumChief Medical Officer, Madhubani must ensure to make payment of General Provident Fund (GPF) and the Group Insurance respectively to the petitioner well within a period of four weeks.

5. In case, the petitioner is not paid, petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate action against the concerned respondents.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
