The petitioner, being wife of Late Sheo Shankar Singh, has claimed post retiral dues of pension etc. for the service rendered by late husband, who retired from the post of Assistant Branch Manager (Sales), Life Insurance Corporation of India, Dehrion-Sone on 31.12.1990. Thereafter, he passed away on 08.09.1993. From perusal of the materials on record, it appears that the petitioner earlier moved the Court in C.W.J.C. No.2183 of 2005 and C.W.J.C.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2408 of 2008 dt.22-02-2018 2/2 No.2161 of 2005 for the same relief and both the writ petitions were dismissed by order dated 17.05.2007.

3. Further, from the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents, it has been stated that the pension scheme itself was notified on 28.06.1995, much after the superannuation of the husband of the petitioner. Moreover, the issue has already been dealt with in the order dated 17.05.2017.

4. In the aforesaid background and taking into account the fact that nobody has appeared to press the writ application, both on merits and on account of non-prosecution, the writ petition stands dismissed.
