Petitioners seek bail in Excise Case No.265 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) and 56 (b) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that on seeing the police party two persons tried to run away by throwing the bag from the motorcycle. It is further alleged that 25 litres illicit liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioners. Counsel for the petitioners submits that Petitioners are in custody since 09.05.2019.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Gaya, in connection with Excise Case No.265 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioners.
