That this is an application for issuance of writ/directions to respondents for arranging special examination of Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 for the petitioner, which was held on 18.09.2020 at examination center namely City Craze, Main Road, Kankarbagh, Bahadurpur, Patna from 4.00 P.M. to 6.30 P.M. in which examination petitioner was

Patna High Court CWJC No.1612 of 2021(2) dt.21-06-2022 2/3 illegally and arbitrarily deprived to appear in the said STET2019 without any fault on his part and further directing the respondents to pay suitable compensation to the petitioner for mental and physical harassment and insult caused to the petitioner by such illegal action of respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner reported at the examination center on 18.09.2020 to appear for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test -2019, herein referred as STET-2019. However, the petitioner was not permitted to appear, as it was alleged that he did not possess the original Aadhar Card. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner had submitted a computer based hard copy of Aadhar Card but the same was not accepted by the authorities and golden chance of petitioner was ruined by the respondents. He therefore submits that a special examination should be conducted and compensation should also be awarded to the petitioner.

I have considered the submissions.

This court finds that the petitioner has produced a hard copy of computer generated of Aadhar card instead of submitting the original Aadhar card and resultantly he was disallowed to appear in the examination. If the petitioner has a

Patna High Court CWJC No.1612 of 2021(2) dt.21-06-2022 3/3 grievance and claimed that giving hard copy of the Aadhar card should have been sufficient for allowing him to appear and he has been wrongly denied to appear in the examination, he can always claim damages and against the concerned authority. No case for special examination is made out.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
