2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No. 99 of 2024 dated 16.03.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/s 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, three unknown miscreants stopped the pick-up van of the informant after putting a barrier on the gun point and snatched the Addhar Card, License and Rs. 10,000/- and also snatched Rs. 21,000/- from the owner of the Gram. They further damaged the pick-up van of the informant with bricks and stones and fled away from the spot.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The name of the petitioner has surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused. No looted articles has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner rather the fact is only Rs. 2800/- and one old Nokia mobile phone was recovered from the pocket of the petitioner which was not looted money. Learned counsel has further submitted that the petitioner has no concern with the alleged recovery. The coaccused has already been granted regular bail by this court vide order dated 02.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 43204 of 2024. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 16.03.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned,
